Since it was so nice outside today I decided to go to the lake. I walked the track with some of the other people who were also enjoying the sunshine. After a mile or so I went to sit by the waters edge. It was so relaxing watching the sun sparkling off the water. A few fishing boats were scattered about. I wondered what it would be like to be on a boat soaking up the rays in November. Since the water was calm, I wonder if the fishermen caught any fish...I'm not sure how long I actually sat and looked out over the water just day dreaming. I'm sure there were a thousand other things I needed to be doing, but I'm glad I had a chance to get outside today. Rain tomorrow....

Fact or Myth

Can anyone tell me if having a chihuahua dog helps someone with asthma? I have heard from people who have asthma say it helps, but I then asked a Vet and was told it is only a myth.

I would really like to know since I'm not a person to have a dog indoors.

One day a woman's husband died, and on that clear, cold morning,

in the warmth of their bedroom, the wife was struck with the pain of

learning that sometimes there isn't "anymore". No more hugs, no more

special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat,

no more "just one minute". Sometimes, what we care about the most gets

all used up and goes away, never to return before we can say good-bye, say

"I love you".

So while we have it, it's best we love it, care for it, fix it when it's broken and

heal it when it's sick. This is true about marriage....and old cars...and children with bad

habits and report cards, and dogs with bad hips, and aging parents and grandparents.

We keep them because they are worth it, because we are worth it.

Somethings we keep---like a best friend who moved away or a sister-in-law after divorce.

These are just somethings that make us happy no matter what.

Life is important, like people we know who are special....and so, we keep them close!

Suppose one morning you never wake up, do all your friends know you love them?

I was thinking....I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I wondered if I had any wounds

needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling or three words needing to be said.

Let your family and friends know you love them. Even if you think they don't love you back,

you would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile can do.

Live today because tomorrow is not promised.

What would you do?

If your son/daughter wanted a tattoo would you sign for them before they turn 18? Or would you say, "wait till your 18."  If you choose to sign, would you stay with them while they get it? Or if they choose to wait, would you want to know if they got one?

Would I be wrong to sign before the 18th birthday?

Where would you be?

Where would you be?

If--you had all the money your heart desires?

If--you had the most fabulous home in the perfect neighborhood?

If--you had no worries?

If--you came home and the finest gourmet meal is waiting for you?

If--your bath water had been run?

If--you had the perfect kids?

If--your partner was awaiting you with open arms and kisses?

So, where would you be?
